I for one can relate to what matthew went through.I can't say it was as violent as what happened to matthew but i was molested when i was 13.Ironically it was 1976 the same year Matthew was born. When you are depressed it seems like even the smallest things like getting up to shower and change your clothes can be a major accomplishment.I have ordered the book and look forward to reading it.Like i have stated in several posts on other matthew Shepard's websites,I heard about the beating right around when it first happened, but it wasn't until I read the articles and watched the Matthew Shepard Story that I actually realized what a great loss his death was and how special he was to those who had the privilege of knowing him.I also must give both my condolences and my thanks to the Shepard family for sharing a part of Matthew with the rest of the world.I for one say Thank you!
