Please join me Thursday July 2nd 7PM at Studio on 4th for our opening reception. Myself (various mediums including paint, tile, organic things and recycled items), Dillon Brown (Digital Media), and Angie Johnson (Oil and acrylic), will be displaying our art for the entire month of July (Artown). On this opening night our musical guest is Lacey Mattison and the Needle Nosed Pliers.

Reno Little Theater presents “The New Hansel & Gretel”, a modernized version of the classic fairytale, for Artown 2009, July 2-14 at various venues throughout Reno, beginning with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship July 2 & 3 at 6 p.m. and July 4 at 1 p.m., and followed by shows at the North Valleys Library (7/7 at 5:30), South Valleys Library (7/9 at 5:30), The River School (7/10 at 6 p.m., 7/11 at 1 p.m), Downtown Reno Library (7/12 at 1 p.m.), & Northwest Library (7/14 at 5:30 p.m.) Directed by McKenzi Swinehart, “The New Hansel & Gretel” combines humor with issues relevant to today’s youth. A dialogue with the actors follows the play. Cost: free at Libraries and for children under 5; at other venues $8 adults, $5 children five and older.
