Nev. County Approves Male Sex Workers

After a protracted application process and hand-wringing by state and county bureaucrats, the Shady Lady Ranch in Nevada’s Nye County will officially offer liaisons with male sex workers.

On Tuesdsay, a county licensing and liquor board approved owner Bobbi Davis’ longstanding request to include “shady men” at the ranch, located 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas, theLos Angeles Times reports. “I personally feel, as do the many other women who have made contact with me since I started this, that this is a service whose time has come,” Davis said in a letter to county officials.
Last month, the Nevada Board of Health voted to change health codes so that male sex workers can be tested for infectious diseases, a stipulation for brothel workers in the state.

Among the qualifications listed on the on the Shady Lady Ranch Web site: Male applicants must be between 21 and 40 years old, must be “service oriented” with a “positive attitude” and a “willingness to please.”
