Last week the Reno AIDS Walk handed out plaques for top individual and team fundraisers at the lovely L’ Uva Bella Wine Gallery.  The Divas were recognized for their continued support of the walk as were companies such as Henry Schein.  Checks were handed out to HOPES, ACCEPT, Frontline and NNOT.  Over the last four years the AIDS Walk has raised some $66,000 under the leadership of co-founder and President Laura Grotz who announced that Colum Sorensen would be taking over the Presidency for the 2010 Walk beginning in November, 2009.
