Xiomara Rodriguez, candidate for Nevada Assembly District 31, is going to be at “La Fuente Restaurant” on Friday, January 15, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., for the Official Kick-off of her campaign.  This will be the first stop of many at small businesses in the Sparks area.  Rodriguez wants to make sure people understand that Assembly District 31covers areas in both Sparks and Reno.  La Fuente Restaurant is located at 790 Baring Boulevard, Sparks, Nevada.  This activity will allow the residents and local business owner to come and meet the candidate and to express their concerns and worries about the local economy and how it is affecting the community.

“As a small business owner myself, I understand some of the problems facing our small business owners, but I want to hear directly from them”, Xiomara said.  “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and too many of them are closing.  We need to find solutions.”
